An advanced nanoemulsion delivering targeted, nonprescription relief for neuropathic pain using multi-active ingredients like capsaicin, CBD, and menthol for enhanced efficacy and skin penetration.
This innovative topical nanoemulsion is designed to provide targeted relief for neuropathic pain through a multi-active approach. By combining capsaicin, menthol, peppermint oil, cannabidiol (CBD), palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), and alpha-lipoic acid, the formulation offers a comprehensive solution that addresses pain via several synergistic mechanisms. These include sensory nerve desensitization, cooling modulation, endocannabinoid system regulation, and antioxidant neuroprotection, delivered in a consumer-friendly, over-the-counter format.
Currently at Technology Readiness Level 3, this nanoemulsion has undergone formulation and pre-clinical validation stages. Future validation plans include scaling up production, conducting safety testing, and creating prototypes for further evaluation.
