Overview
Cranberry proanthocyanidins (PACs) prevent bacterial adhesion to the urinary tract epithelium, reducing the risk of urinary tract infections. Urophenol is manufactured from whole cranberry fruit using Symrise's proprietary green extraction process, yielding a highly purified extract standardized to 15% PACs measured by the BL-DMAC method (the gold-standard analytical method for cranberry PAC quantification). The high standardization means lower dosage per serving compared to less concentrated cranberry extracts.
