Company

Transform exhaust gas into clean, hot water using the patented Transport Membrane Condenser (TMC) technology. This system captures and condenses water vapor without acid gas contamination, offering efficient energy recovery for industrial applications.

Overview

The Transport Membrane Condenser (TMC) technology offers an innovative solution for recovering water and energy from exhaust gases. By leveraging patented ceramic membrane tubes with a nano-coating, the TMC system effectively condenses water vapor from exhaust streams, providing clean, non-acidic hot water. This technology not only recovers latent heat but also prevents acid gas condensation, making it ideal for industries seeking efficient energy recovery and sustainable practices.

Technical specifications

Key features:

  • Utilizes patented ceramic membrane tubes with nano-coating to create capillaries for water vapor condensation
  • Operates at capillary dewpoint, delivering water at 80°C
  • Prevents acid gas condensation, ensuring clean water output
  • Proven applications in boilers, steam tunnels, and spray dryers
  • Scalable from pilot installations, such as the one at Qemetica (PPG), to commercial systems with 200-300 modules
Technology readiness level

The TMC technology is at TRL 6, having been validated in relevant environments. Future installations, such as pilot systems, are recommended to demonstrate its effectiveness in specific industrial settings.
