Explore advanced hydration and performance recovery solutions designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. This solution focuses on improving power output, oxygen efficiency, and cognitive responses post-exercise through tailored interventions.

Overview

The Hydration and Performance Recovery (HYPR) solutions aim to enhance athletic performance and recovery through innovative pre- and post-workout interventions. These solutions are designed to improve power output for a given oxygen consumption, reduce time trials, and accelerate recovery of biomarkers and neuromuscular function. This research-based approach targets athletes across various sports, including running, cycling, and soccer, employing a double-blind crossover study to ensure robust and reliable outcomes.

Technical specifications

Key features:

  • Tailored pre- and post-workout solutions designed to enhance power output and oxygen efficiency.
  • Utilization of validated time trials adapted for specific sports to measure performance improvements.
  • Comprehensive recovery assessment through blood biomarkers and muscle force parameters.
  • Evaluation of fluid balance via urine specific gravity, body mass changes, fluid intake, and sweat loss.
  • Cognitive and mood enhancements measured using visual perception tasks and the Stroop Test.
Technology readiness level

The HYPR solutions are currently at Technology Readiness Level 5, indicating that they have been validated in relevant environments, with ongoing research to refine and adapt the interventions for broader athletic applications.
