Innovative electrostatic spray drying (ESD) technology creates functional ingredients for weight management by preserving bioactive compounds and optimizing nutrient release. This method enhances flavor, satiety, and nutrient delivery with potential commercial scalability.
This solution leverages electrostatic spray drying (ESD) to produce innovative functional ingredients designed for weight management. By preserving the potency of bioactive compounds and volatile aromatics, ESD enables the co-encapsulation of proteins, BCAA concentrates, peptides, micronutrients, probiotics, and more in a single particle. These particles are engineered to optimize flavor release, enhance satiety, and improve nutrient delivery. The technology is particularly suitable for creating nutritional products that offer better taste and consumer satisfaction while supporting weight management goals.
Currently at TRL 3, this technology has demonstrated experimental proof of concept through in-vitro and preliminary in-vivo tests. Future efforts will focus on further validation, scale-up, and consumer testing to pave the way for commercialization.
