Disruptive bio-physical synergy: 100% reduction of brown planthopper (BPH) via ELPC physical induction

Executive Summary:

NEWKIS offers a novel "Mode of Action" to manage pest resistance in major crops. In our latest field trials (Conghua, Guangdong), the ELPC (Electromagnetic Life Particle Conduction) system achieved a consistent 100% reduction in Brown Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens) in rice paddies. This non-chemical platform utilizes biophysical induction to disrupt pest colonization and sensory navigation. We are seeking R&D partners to explore the underlying molecular mechanisms.

Mechanism & Hypothesis: While the 100% reduction of BPH is consistently observed, we currently categorize our understanding of the underlying biophysical mechanism as a strong scientific hypothesis based on observed data. We estimate that the ELPC system disrupts the pest’s feeding behavior through specific physical induction. However, to fully decode the molecular pathways and biological triggers, we are seeking Bayer’s advanced R&D support to conduct rigorous, joint mechanistic research.
