Whatever the sensor source or environment, all data passes through the same Godot reconstruction pipeline. Godot is open source with no runtime licensing fees and no proprietary restrictions. The client receives the full reconstruction and all associated code and can modify, integrate, or redistribute it without restriction or ongoing cost.
This is a deliberate departure from Unity and Unreal Engine-based reconstruction systems, which carry runtime licensing obligations that complicate MOD ownership transfer and restrict the client's ability to modify or integrate the output. Godot also performs efficiently on ruggedised field hardware, which matters when the reconstruction needs to run at an operator position rather than on a studio workstation.
Data ingestion pipelines are in place or in active development for: Impact Subsea SeaView V3 CSV output; Emesent Aura point cloud export; Phase One iX Capture photogrammetric output; IniVation event camera data streams. All pipelines feed into a unified Godot scene representing the complete surveyed environment. Cursor on Target and TAK-compatible output is supported for integration with ATAK and compatible command systems; both have been operationally deployed and tested against live devices.
Interoperability The system emits SAPIENT-compliant track data, supporting integration with MOD autonomous sensor networks and wider sensor fusion architectures. CoT and TAK output allows crossing assessment data and tracked contacts to be shared with ATAK and other command systems in open standard formats without proprietary software dependency. Both outputs have been operationally deployed and tested against live devices in field conditions.
