Preventive health monitoring covers measuring a person before anything is wrong. On Halo, the solutions cover detecting a micronutrient, reading a biofluid deeply, wearables and continuous tracking, and assembling the whole picture. Every solution comes from the team that developed it, so you can reach the people behind the work directly. Sign up to search the full network and post your specific need.

Preventive health expertsMicronutrient deficiency is what most of the work on Halo detects, through thirteen different routes: enzymatic fuel cells on paper, inkjet-printed sensors, synthetic receptors, cell-free biosensors, a glucometer repurposed, lateral flow. Around them sit multi-omics platforms and wearables reading a signal continuously. On Halo it spans four groups, including detecting a micronutrient, reading a biofluid deeply, and wearables and continuous tracking.
Stage of development. Work on preventive health monitoring on Halo is split between university programs and companies. 43% of the solutions are in market. Co-development and licensing are the usual partnering routes, and about 32% of the solutions that state terms offer pilot engagements.
Thirteen routes to one deficiency. Paper enzymatic fuel cells, reactive inkjet printing, synthetic receptors in place of antibodies, cell-free biology, ion-selective electrodes in a patch, a repurposed glucometer, colorimetric lateral flow read by eye. Every one detects a micronutrient at home and every one attacks cost or sample volume. It is the same request answered from thirteen directions.
One company brought the whole stack. Three entries from the same group cover a nasal fluid microsampler, the multi-omics analysis run on what it collects, and the data platform underneath for airway biology. Almost every other entry is a single component. Collection, assay and interpretation are usually three businesses, and one company brought all three.
Prevention means measuring the healthy. Nothing on this list diagnoses a disease. An index of immune cell metabolism, exfoliomics reading intestinal absorption, continuous stress sensing tied to hormonal balance, urinary metabolites read for diet. These are measurements taken from people with no complaint, which is a harder commercial proposition and a much larger one.
Preventive health monitoring covers measuring a person before anything is wrong. It spans detection of micronutrient deficiency in blood, saliva and sweat, multi-omics read from a nasal or urine sample, wearables that track a signal continuously, and the platforms that assemble several readings into one view. Consumer health brands, diagnostics companies and employers are the buyers.
