R&D of wave-based technologies: Ultrasound Diagnostics: Smart platforms for real-time manufacturing monitoring. Biomedical Instrumentation: Ultrasonic tissue characterization of mechanical properties. High-Energy Photonics: Laser source control & integrated thermal management.
About
I have over two decades of experience in multi-scale energy transport, ultrafast physics, wave-matter interaction, and multiphase thermofluidic science. This includes a track record of disruptive innovation, such as the "Cell as a Material" concept and repurposing biological micropipettes for thermal characterization. Leveraging a background in wave-matter interaction, the PI successfully repurposed ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation (NDE) to characterize complex mechanical properties in 3D-printed materials, demonstrating a unique ability to translate fundamental physics into transformative tools for industrial quality assurance.
