I develop sustainable materials and technologies at the food–water–energy–healthcare nexus by integrating fundamental chemistry, micro-/nanoengineering, and green manufacturing principles. I bring more than 10 years of experience in cellulose chemistry and engineering, reflected in 15+ U.S. patents, two licensed technologies, and entrepreneurial experience as Co-Founder of Sylvita Technologies Inc. My lab focuses on engineering bio-derived polymers and multifunctional soft materials for applications in food, healthcare, personal care, packaging, water treatment, and environmental sustainability.
