Industry collaborators who have an interesting materials we can put on our microscope - we can tell you when, where, & why your material may work (or fail)! Our microscopes can resolve dynamics in situ/in operando.
About
I develop microscopes to better understand materials. I encourage you to check out my lab website: kisleylab.science ; I develop and apply new light microscopies to understand materials and inspire their design at the ultimate concentration limit of a single molecule. We study porous and interfacial (bio/nano/polymer) materials that are of interest due to their role in disease treatment, pharmaceutical separations, and metal coatings. I have obtained over $4.5 million dollars in independent funding. I am especially proud that my basic research results have led to collaborations and funding with industry, where there is potential to impact applied, commercial products in society. My lab's research has also led to new inventions, resulting in patented technologies.
